Established in London in 2024, the Foundation has a global outlook and will prioritise two critical areas:

  1. Preserving the world’s tropical rainforests
  2. Supporting Athletes in their futures following the end of their sporting careers

Protecting Rainforests

The world’s tropical rainforests support the lives of millions of people, host some of the world’s greatest biodiversity and play an essential role in tackling climate change. Yet an area of forest the size of Greece is still being lost each year. We will support projects that protect the rainforest and that prevent further destruction.

Athletes dedicate their lives to their sport, and in doing so inspire millions. Yet the vast majority face significant challenges when they exit from sport. We will enhance the support available to athletes during this transition and develop new ideas that can lead to lasting change.
